| Vision Communications Dial-Up Accelerator for PC Note: This is strictly a dial-up enhancement. DO NOT install the Vision Communications Dial-Up Accelerator on a DSL or Cable Broadband connection. DO NOT install on Windows 95 operating systems. Please see system requirements below. Minimum System Requirements: Microsoft Client: 200MHz Pentium Processor, 64MB RAM Additional 8Mb Free on your Hard Disk Windows 98, WinMe, Windows NT, Windows 2000, XP, Vista Win CE, Pocket PC Click to download Vision Communications Dial-Up Accelerator Internet Explorer: When prompted, select "Save", and choose Desktop as the location to save. Mozilla Firefox: When prompted, select "Save File". By default, Firefox saves downloaded items to Desktop. Installation 1. To begin... Locate and double-click on the installer icon, labeled visionaccel_installer.exe. The installer program will open. If you have not done so at this point, close any open programs and save any documents, photographs or files you may be working on.  Click "Next >" to continue. 2. Previous Installation If a previous installation of the Mobiletel Dialup Accelerator is installed, the screen will display a prompt. Click OK to automatically remove the previous version. NOTE: If you do not have a previous version installed, click on Next > and continue to Step 4.  Click "OK" to continue. 3. Reboot Your Computer Once the uninstallation process has completed, you may be prompted to reboot your computer. Click OK to automatically reboot.  Click "OK" to continue. 4. License Agreement The Accelerator installer will begin to install once the computer has restarted. Read the Licence Agreement, and click in the box to place a check mark next to I acknowledge that I have read and accepted the terms of this license agreement.  Click "Next >" to continue. 5. Destination Location The Accelerator installer displays the default installation location.  Click "Next >" to continue. 6. Installing Click Next > to install.  7. Complete Upon completion, the Accelerator installer indicates a successful install.  Click "Finish >" to continue. 8. Reboot Your Computer You will be prompted to reboot your computer when the new installation of the Accelerator has installed.  Click "OK" to continue. 9. System Tray Menu The new icon for the Accelerator will be in the System Tray. (When it is not dialed up, it will have the yellow warning triangle with an exclamation mark, as shown here.) Use your mouse and right-click on the VISI Accelerator icon. A menu will appear. Left click on Settings...  10. Accelerator Settings Screen The main Settings screen for the Accelerator will display. From the folder tabs at the top, click on Connection.  11. Login Information Enter your username and password as shown on your Customer Agreement Form from Vision Communications. The Accelerator uses the same username and password as your modem uses to dial-up.  Click "OK" to close the window and complete the installation.
